Terms
Terms of Use
Draft for product launch preparation. Legal review is required before broad public launch or charging users.
Draft terms: These terms are a product-development draft and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production use.
1. Service
FATChat provides tools for personal health tracking, organization, progress history and data-based observations. Features may change during alpha and beta periods.
2. Not medical advice
FATChat is not a doctor, pharmacy or emergency service. Content and insights are for organization and informational context only. FATChat does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure disease and does not tell users how to dose prescription medication.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining control of your account credentials and for information submitted through your account. Do not access another person’s account without authorization.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access, scrape protected user data, upload unlawful content or use FATChat to harass, monitor or control another person.
5. Family Circles
Circle membership does not transfer ownership of another user’s health information. Sharing remains subject to the permissions selected by the person whose information is being shared.
6. Beta service
During beta, functionality may be incomplete, change frequently or be withdrawn. Users should not rely on FATChat as the sole record needed for medical care or emergencies.
7. Subscriptions
If paid plans are introduced, current pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund and platform-billing terms will be presented before purchase. The marketing site is not the source of entitlement truth.
8. User content
You retain rights in your personal content subject to permissions necessary for FATChat to store, process and display it to provide the service. Detailed license language should be finalized during legal review.
9. Availability and warranties
The service may experience interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, beta functionality is provided without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or medical fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Changes and termination
Terms and service availability may change. Material changes should be communicated appropriately. Account suspension or termination should follow documented product and legal procedures.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be submitted through the FATChat contact page.
